RLS Metro Breaking News - Shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon, firefighters responded to the 100 block of Broad Street on a report of a woman bleeding and seriously injured.

The woman, who appeared to be in her 30's and did not speak English, was conscious and alert but communicating with the woman was difficult according to witnessed  accounts at the scene.

It was not immediately clear what caused the injuries that initiated the woman to bleed  from her lower abdomen but witnesses said that the woman appeared pregnant an could have been going into labor.
