RLSMedia.com - Law enforcement officials are investigating a suspicious fire that may have been intentionally set at a home on Magnolia Avenue this morning.
The fire, which is believed to have started on the first floor of a home in the 600 block of Magnolia Avenue, was extinguished after crews were called to the scene at approximately 5 a.m.
Union County’s 901 Investigator and Sheriff Officers were called to the scene after a gas can was located on first floor of the home.
The Magnolia fire / arson is under investigation at this time Lt. Daniel Geddes said.
No arrests or charges have reportedly been approved at this time, Geddes added.
