RLSMedia.com - A heroic late night rescue operation is being applauded for first responders in Elizabeth this morning. 

Firefighters and EMS conducted the high angle rescue of a man suspended about 25 ft. in a straddle crane  at around midnight on North Fleet Street (port Elizabeth). 

The man was taken to an area hospital with a non-life threatening hip injury. 

The incident is under investigation.
