  • Firefighters Quickly Extinguished Vacant Under Construction Home in Elizabeth

    RLSMedia.com - Elizabeth firefighters quickly extinguished a Wednesday morning blaze at a 2.5-story home that is under construction.

    The fire started shortly after 9 a.m. at the 100 block of Westfield Avenue in Elizabeth.

    The fire department had the fire under control in less than a half an hour. 

    No injuries were reported at the vacant home, but according to Elizabeth police there have been squatters previously at this location. 

    The fire remains under investigation at this time.
