NJ.com - ELIZABETH - City and county police were at the scene of a car crash on North Avenue Sunday morning, investigating the accident involving an overturned vehicle.
Officials have closed North Avenue between Newark Avenue and Hazard Place.
Firefighters and police were working around a green car, flipped on its roof and lying in the middle of the road, around 11:45 a.m.
At least one parked car appeared to also be damaged.
Details about the accident or the car's occupants were not immediately available.
